2010 ENERGY STAR^® Sustained Excellence Partner of the Year Award

For the fourth consecutive year, The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Department of Energy (DOE) announced that Pella Corporation has earned the 2010 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year Award for their commitment to manufacturing energy-efficient products and educating consumers about them.

Additionally in 2010, Pella was honored with the Sustained Excellence award in recognition of four consecutive years as an ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year. This designation is given to select group of organizations that have exhibited enduring leadership in their category year after year. Organizations who receive this award have reduced greenhouse gas emissions by setting and achieving aggressive goals, employing innovative approaches, and demonstrating the benefits of energy efficiency on a continued basis.

The ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year Awards recognize manufacturers and retailers that successfully promote and deliver ENERGY STAR qualified products, saving consumers money and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Award winners were selected from more than 9,000 organizations that participate in the ENERGY STAR program

What is ENERGY STAR?

• ENERGY STAR is a government-backed program helping businesses and individuals protect the environment through the use of high-efficiency products.
• Started by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in 1992, ENERGY STAR began as a voluntary labeling program designed to identify and promote energy-efficient products to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
